ETC.rent Rental Policy Agreement

Please Note: Rentals are based on time, not usage. Each rental period covers 24 hours unless otherwise specified.

 

Equipment Rental Policy

Thank you for choosing ETC.rent, operated by Pro AV Source, LLC, for your event and production needs. We are committed to providing high-quality equipment and ensuring your rental experience is smooth, professional, and reliable. Please review the policy below before confirming your order.

Reservation and Payment

All rentals require a reservation and full payment at the time of booking.
We accept all major credit cards, cash, and checks.
A reservation is not confirmed until full payment has been received by Pro AV Source, LLC.
Once confirmed, all equipment, labor, and scheduling are blocked for your event.

 

Cancellation Policy

 

Standard Equipment Rentals (Non–Mobile Stage Rentals)

1. More than 7 days before delivery or pickup:
   Full refund minus unrecoverable costs already incurred by Pro AV Source, LLC (labor, prep work, subrentals, purchased materials, custom fabrication, etc.).
2. Within 96 hours of the rental date:
   Because confirmed orders remove equipment from inventory, cancellations made within 96 hours may not receive a refund.
3. Within 48 hours due to an Act of God:
   No refund is issued; however, the total amount minus unrecoverable costs will remain as a usable credit for six months toward a future rental.
4. Less than 24 hours before delivery or pickup:
   A 100% cancellation fee applies. No refunds or credits are provided.

Weather-related issues after delivery:
No refunds or credits are issued for unused rental time or weather interruptions once equipment has been delivered.

 

Equipment Pickup and Delivery

Customer pickup is available at our facility during regular business hours.
Delivery and pickup services are available for an additional fee and must be arranged at the time of booking.
Our team will deliver equipment to the designated location at the scheduled time and return for pickup at the end of the rental period.

 

Equipment Use

Equipment must be operated by a responsible adult (18+).
The renter is responsible for safe and proper use of all equipment, following any instructions provided by ETC.rent / Pro AV Source, LLC.

 

Equipment Care and Cleaning

The renter is responsible for keeping equipment clean and properly maintained during the rental period.
Any damage caused by improper use, neglect, or insufficient cleaning will result in repair or cleaning fees.

 

Loss or Damage to Equipment

The renter is responsible for the full replacement cost of equipment that becomes lost, stolen, or damaged during the rental.
Insurance coverage is strongly recommended, especially for valuable items or outdoor events.

 

 

Extended Rentals

If you need to extend your rental period, please contact us promptly.
Extensions depend on equipment availability and may require additional payment.

 

 

Safety

All equipment is routinely inspected and maintained by Pro AV Source, LLC to ensure safety and reliability.
The renter assumes all risks and liabilities associated with equipment use.

 

 

 

Force Majeure

ETC.rent / Pro AV Source, LLC is not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, severe weather, pandemics, government restrictions, power outages, strikes, civil disturbances, or natural disasters.
In such cases, the rental agreement may be suspended or canceled without liability. The renter acknowledges that ETC.rent is not responsible for financial losses caused by a Force Majeure event.
