A 12-channel mixer, interface, and recorder with 10 available playback tracks, the Model-12 records WAV files of up to 24-bit/48kHz directly to an SD card so you can capture the moment as it happens, wherever it happens. Prefer tracking straight to your computer? Onboard USB allows direct input to a wide range of standard DAWs (digital audio workstations) for recording and playback. Plus, Model-12 provides control of basic DAW functions like transport, solo, pan, mute, level control, and more, directly from its surface creating a true console workflow.

Six Tascam low noise HD preamps with a wide dynamic range, accurately capture the sonic characteristic of the input. Speaking of inputs, the back panel features 8 balanced XLR/TRS combination jacks for microphones, keyboards, drum machines, etc.... with +48V phantom power provided for condenser mics. All 8 channels are also Hi-Z capable so you can plug in a guitar directly to record clean tones or model it in your DAW. Two additional balanced line inputs are provided on channels 9/10, while two inserts on channels 1/2 beg you to hook up your vintage tube mic pre and compressor to sweeten those tracks!

The Model-12 features stereo main and sub outputs, each with dedicated level control, as well as two discrete headphone outputs for separate mixes. You also have access to a pair of auxiliary outputs giving you extreme flexibility adapting to any monitoring situation.

Podcasters and live streamers will appreciate the Bluetooth capability, smartphone input, and mix-minus features, along with multiple mic-ready channels that make it easy to include one or several collaborators.

An all-in-one production solution, the Model-12 comes equipped with a one-knob compressor and EQ on each input channel, and a full palette of digital reverbs on board to help you create professional, deliverable content. PFL/AFL and Solo buttons provide versatile monitoring of single channels or groups when making critical mix decisions. MIDI In/Out, USB MIDI, MIDI Time Code (MTC), and MIDI clock output are integrated to give you even more flexibility when incorporating external gear.
